Last updated: 20 October 2026 · Applies to the Call Me Over app and callmeover.com
Call Me Over ("we") is operated by Spiketech Enterprise, India. The app's whole point is meeting people in the real world, which means some personal data is genuinely needed to make it work. This page says exactly what we collect, why, who touches it, and how you get rid of it. No legal fog.
| Data | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Phone number / email | Signing you in with one-time codes. Your number is never shown to other users. |
| Name, age, gender, bio, interests, photos | Your profile — what other people see when you send or answer a callout. Age keeps the app 18+. |
| Precise location | The core feature: finding the venue you're at, showing nearby callouts and people, stamping Scenes. Used while you use the app; "background presence" is off unless you switch it on, and ghost mode hides you any time. |
| Things you post | Callouts, scenes, messages, events, venue claims — stored so the app can show them to the people you aimed them at. |
| Ticket & payment history | Tickets you reserve and payments you make. Card/UPI details go directly to Razorpay — we never see or store them. |
| Device & crash data | A push-notification token so invites reach you, and crash reports so we can fix what broke. |
We don't collect contacts, we don't scan your photo library, and we don't track you across other apps.
We don't sell personal data, and there are no ads in Call Me Over. A small set of service providers process data strictly on our behalf:
Beyond that, data leaves our hands only if the law requires it or you explicitly ask us to share it.
You're invisible by default. Other users see your profile when you act — sending or answering a callout, appearing on Nearby (ghost mode off), posting a scene, or joining an event. Private events show only their title and host until someone is let in. You choose whether your photo or a generated avatar is shown, and blocking removes a person from your entire app.
Every photo and video is checked by automated moderation before anyone sees it, and text in posts is screened too. Reports are reviewed by a human. This processing exists to keep the app safe and is part of the deal of posting content here.
In the app: You tab → Settings → Delete account. It's immediate and permanent.
Without the app: use the deletion request page —
works even if you've uninstalled.
Deletion erases your profile, photos and content links, ends your callouts, cancels your future hosted events, releases unused tickets, and removes you from chats (past messages show "Deleted user"). A minimal anonymized record of transactions and moderation actions is retained where Indian law requires it — nothing that identifies you publicly.
Scenes leave the public feed after 48 hours; expired callouts vanish from the feed immediately. Account data is kept while your account exists. Everything moves over encrypted connections (TLS), and access to production data is limited to the people who run the service. Call Me Over is strictly 18+; accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
You can access and correct your data in the app, and delete it as above. For anything else — questions, complaints, a copy of your data — write to kalashsid@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 expects of us.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
